Regular Season Round 14: Zlin - Pardubice 84-83

Important game to mention about took place in Zlin. Fourth ranked Zlin (7-4) saved a 1-point victory at home edging second-ranked Pardubice (9-5) 84-83 on Friday evening. Jan Micka notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Tomas Jansa supported him with 13 points and 7 assists. Four Zlin players scored in double figures. Even 23 points and 4 assists by Michal Svojanovsky did not help to save the game for Pardubice. Forward Vladimir Vondra (206-2002, college: Northwest JC) added 23 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Zlin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Pardubice at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Zlin will play against Olomouc Bbal (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pardubice will play against Vysoka (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
